Who You Are
It does not matter if you are black or white,
Whether you’re short or tall,
Or have no sight.
You have people that love you and care,
People you know who will always be there,
These people love you for who you are, because you're a real star,
There's more to you than just an outer shell,
A special side that some people know really well,
You should be very proud of who you are, because you know that you have come so far,
A star that shines bright and so you should within your own right.
Time
Time is long lasting but never when you want it to be,
When it matters the most time goes too quickly,
When you want it to go fast it doesn't and when you don't it does,
Time can be special with memories for you to keep,
Memories that will always stay in your heart so deep,
For as long as you remember them,
They will be there,
The good, the bad, and the ones you can share.
